Nylon. 840 Denier x 1680 Denier nylon mesh. This is a very durable yet soft
feeling and drapable mesh. Very little stretch (just a very minimal amount of cross
stretch). Easy to sew. Able to withstand heavy loads. Machine washable.
This is the mesh included in the G-4 backpack kits. Uses:
great for backpack pockets, heavy duty storage and gear bags, marine uses where water
needs to drain, ventilation in the back of pack frames.. Wash

lightweight polyester mesh feels like cotton but absorbs much less moisture. This
mesh has very good body and drapeability and offers very good abrasion protection to
waterproof/breathable fabrics when used as a lining. More breathability than
taffeta. Machine washable. Uses: very good lining for
waterproof breathable fabrics, vents in clothing, lightweight undershirts..

Polyester/15% Lycra. This unique mesh is used on the human side of pack straps and
backpack panels designed to provide ventilation as well as padding. The face side
has a somewhat closer knit like fabric that is bonded to a 3 dimensional mesh. It
has some crosswise stretch. Originally designed for military use so it is tough and
durable. 6mm thick (approx 3/16") Uses: pack straps and
back panels, seat covers, cushions. NOTE: If you are re-ordering, this
is a slightly different style than we have carried before, it has a little stiffer feel,
the 3-D hole size is a little larger and the face fabric has more ventilation. |
