| THINSULATE |
65% Olelin and 35% polyester. A very
thin (approx. 1/8" - 5/8" in thickness respectively) lightweight insulation made
by 3M. Microfibers (1.4 denier) keep you warm even when wet. One of the best
synthetic insulations available. Thinsulate is an insulation and must be
sandwiched in between an outer shell and a lining. Although the use of different
types of fabric and activity will effect the amount of warmth you need the chart below
will give you a standard application for each. Note: additional shipping charges may apply due to bulk of packaging. Wash Code =3

- [NOTE: A
quilt spacing of 4-10" is recommended. It is recommended quilting the
Thinsulate to the lining fabric. When using waterproof breathable fabric the scrim
portion (the interfacing-like side) of the Thinsulate goes next to the coating on the
fabric]. Uses: jackets, hats, "snow" pants, mittens, insulation for
leather jackets, etc.

downproof or high thread-count fabric is required. Uses:
outerwear, mittens, sleeping quilts, sleeping bags (For more details on how much
insulation is recommended see loft guidelines
for sleeping bags). Wash Code =10
