Polyethylene fibers. Tyvek Style 1443R.
Strong, durable, flexible, water and tear resistant and breathable.
Easily sewn with conventional sewing machine (use 6-8
stitches per inch) or use mylar tape (item #2308) to tape the seam.
Lightest weight Tyvek and very water resistant and a very popular choice for
lightweight tent ground cloths when weight and packing smaller is more
important. Seams can be glued (water based adhesives that provides
quick tack and fast drying are recommended). Uses:
great for tent ground cloths, indoor furniture and vehicle covers, clothing,
decoys, kites, windsocks. If you prefer to have this fabric rolled instead of folded
to avoid creases there is an extra shipping surcharge, please let us know if
you desire this shipping method.

REFLECTIVE TYVEK. This the metalized version of style 14-M above.
It also offers excellent wet dry protection and provides an excellent
barrier. With its soft and fabric like-hand, Tyvek 14-S is extremely
lightweight, strong, water resistant, breathable and durable. It has
very good light block out properties when used as an interlining. It
also has good insulation properties and reflects heat back to the body in
bivy sack applications. Tyvek meets all the requirements of the
CA-191-53 Flammable Fabrics Act. Easily sewn with conventional sewing machine (use 6-8 stitches per inch) or
use mylar tape (item #2308) to tape the seam.
Uses: Bivies, clothing, indoor covers, kites. If you prefer to
have this fabric rolled instead of folded to avoid creases there is an extra
shipping surcharge, please let us know if you desire this shipping method.

high thread count weave makes the fabric windproof yet breathable.
Machine washable. The finish can vary between a flat finish and a slightly laundered finish. Uses:
great for shorts, jackets, ski wear, running suits, hammocks.

Quest Side Note: This
fabric is amazing! I made about 8 pair of shorts with it about 10
years ago, they have each probably been washed about 400 times and they are
still going strong. This fabric dries quickly, cleans amazingly, is
super durable, comfortable and breathable. |
