Thanks for your support, please click on the link below to view my homepage.

Hello All,

This July 24th-27th, I will be cycling 300 miles to raise funds and awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. I will bike from Traverse City to Chelsea, for a total of 300 miles! The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions, to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation holds an annual cycling event called the Wish-A-Mile 300 Bicycle Tour, or WAM, to make these dreams happen. This year will be the 21st anniversary of WAM, and last year, this event raised enough money to grant 167 wishes.  The goal this year is 200 wishes.  I am so excited to be a part of this inspirational event that is so important to children.

Completing this event will mark a personal best for me.  Even though I have begun my training, I will still be facing some difficult endeavors.  Let’s just say that I will be more gravitationally challenged than most riders. In all seriousness though, riding a bike for 300 miles will be a challenge, but nothing in comparison to what these children and their families are facing.

Please join me in my journey of hope, strength, and joy by pledging towards my fundraising goal. Each rider is required to raise $750.00 to participate, but the sky is the limit. Every bit helps towards granting a wish!

Thank you for your support of me and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. I appreciate your donation; it will make a significant difference. Also, if you are interested in the ride or for more information on Make-A-Wish, you can check out the website at www.wishmich.org.

Take care, and best wishes!
